Pink Orchids 3D Luminary Card Kit

Order : Pink Orchids 3D Luminary Card Kit - (3D Luminary) - (Kit)

This design creates a lovely 3D luminary. It will fold flat to a size of approx. 14cm x 15.5cm.

Please ensure that your recipient knows NOT TO USE a normal open flame candle with the luminary. Battery operated LED candles are available very cheaply at most stores which stock craft supplies.

There are various options offered in the step by step Photographic tutorial -

OPTION 1: Print on vellum for luminary windows. For this option you will need to print the "vellum panels" on plain translucent vellum or parchment paper.

OPTION 2: Make your own lattice with the lattice guide and strips of paper for the windows. For this option you will use the lattice guide and cut strips of paper about 3mm wide.

OPTION 3: Use die cut lattice for the window. For this option you will need to have access to a die cutting machine (like a Cuttlebug or Bigshot) and an appropriate die. Use plain paper to cut two panels of lattice.

OPTION 4: emboss a piece of vellum for the window. For this option you will need to access to a machine (like a Cuttlebug or Bigshot), an embossing folder and some plain vellum or parchment paper. Emboss two panels.

Then you simply take either your vellum or lattice, attach to the wrong side of each luminary cover piece (centred over the aperture). Score where marked. Attach the left and right panels of the covers back to back. Attach your decoupage pieces and greeting label.

What you will receive.

All card making sheets come as a JPG image. KITS contain mutliple sheets. These are in a ZIP file. You can download Winzip here http://download.cnet.com/WinZip/3000-2250_4-10003164.html if you don't already have it. There is also free unzipping software here http://www.camunzip.com/. No refunds are made if you do not have Winzip or if you do not know how to print the files. A kit will typically contain a card front and insert, a sheet of decoupage elements for you to 3D, co-ordinated backing papers or panel sections of the card, multiple message labels and a step by step instruction sheet. Many kits also contain matching envelopes. Naturally you can resize the sheets to make any sized card you like.
